The backstory:
This piece was inspired by the carnival zone. For several years I worked as an artist demonstrator at the LA County Fair. After a full day in the gallery, it was exciting to get outside in the warm summer night and sketch the “Fun Zone”. One of my favorite rides to sketch is the merry-go-round. Take a ride with me. The journey is delightful.
